A few weeks ago we met Mary Kathryn in the little Mississippi town of Fayette. From there we drove to a quaint country church a couple of miles away from Windsor Ruins. Mary Kathryn got ready in the one-room white church & we began her epic bridal session there. Afterward we drove down to Windsor and had an absolute blast! She has been so much fun & her mother-in-law was an awesome assistant! I’m so happy we can finally share these pictures! The wedding was this past Saturday. Be looking for the wedding pictures in the coming weeks. Take some time to read up on Windsor Ruins – it’s such an awesome story and a tragic shame!

Welcome to my blog!
I’m Mary Meghan Mabus. Southern and genteel, as you can tell from my double name. Young, stylish, artsy, comfortable in my own skin, and at ease on your big day. I grew up in Tupelo, MS, where photography began as a hobby for me. When it came time to decide on a career after college, I made lists of things I love to do and what I am good at. Photography was #1 on both lists…next to my expert cheesecake-making skills.
I like Jif peanut butter, long road trips and camping, You can often find me riding downtown on my bright pink beach cruiser bicycle, equipped with pink and orange headphones rocking some killer playlists on the iPod. I love House, Garden State, Dave Matthews, and my husband Josh. He is an artist, too. But he’s also a businessman by trade and helps me keep up with the details. Josh and I have traveled the world, developing our photographic skills with a variety of people and locations. We enjoy shooting different genres: babies, children, live entertainment, landscapes, weddings, and portraits.
Josh is a vast well of useful – and useless – knowledge. He has mastered many skills, and is the best of the best at advertising with his company Mabus Agency, creating and managing websites, graphic design, and shooting engagement and wedding sessions with me. Funny, wise, intelligent, and a great father, he taught me most everything I know about photography and is a wonderful
sidekick to have at shoots. On your wedding day, we remain behind the camera and give very few commands. As photographers, our mission is to allow your individuality to call the shots and the clicks. Sweet, silly, passionate, artistic, unique -- we cater to your whims.

Love the natural light in the Windsor Ruins shots. You guys are amazing! Awesome shots.
Makes me homesick. We used to visit when I lived in Vicksburg. Your shots are always great because they are creative and the subjects in your photos always look like they are enjoying the time. Beautiful shots.
